Team Pulse Guide

~6 min – the live command center where open positions, desk activity, watchers, and risk tools converge in one real-time view

The Trading Floor pipeline starts with ideas, but Team Pulse is where the open book lives. Route: `/team` or `/team/pulse`.

Where to Find It

• Default entry when traders need operational awareness

Page Layout

• Watchlist ticker — team symbols with live prices + Binance 24h % change; editable via team settings
• Activity feed — merged API + WebSocket events (Live/Offline indicator)
• Live Team P&L banner — realtime marks on open positions (~5s refresh)
• BuyingPowerCard (compact) on Blotter and Exposure tabs

Seven Sub-Tabs

1. Live Blotter — open positions: trader, symbol, side, size, entry/current, P&L, liquidation distance, funding; Claim Watcher per row
2. Exposure — aggregate exposure heatmap from pulse data
3. Watchers — who is watching the book; WatcherCheckoff + Watcher Handoff dialog
4. Leaderboard — trader ranking by desk metrics
5. Allocation — Dynamic Allocation Engine preview (propose/approve rebalances — full control on Allocations tab)
6. Stress Test — scenario shocks on current blotter positions
7. Correlation — Correlation Heatmap across open positions

Data Sources

• `useTeamPulse(selectedTeamId)` — blotter, exposure, watchers, activity, watchlist (5 min polling fallback)
• `useActivityFeed` — WebSocket merge for realtime desk events
• `useLivePrices`, `useClaimWatcher`, `useTeamPortfolios` for exchange-aware marks

Quick Workflow — Desk Monitor Ritual

1. Open Team Pulse → confirm correct team in selector
2. Scan Live P&L and activity feed for new events
3. Live Blotter — claim watcher on positions you own
4. Check Exposure + Stress Test when book is large or correlated
5. Leaderboard / Allocation preview before weekly capital meetings

Quick Reality Checks

• Empty blotter? → No live executions — execute from Set-ups
• Stale prices? → Check exchange mapping on team Portfolios
• Watcher unclaimed? → Claim or hand off before stepping away
• Guardrail event in feed? → Jump to Executions (Breached) or Guardrails
