Trading Floor

Team Settings Guide

Invite members, manage roles, and administer the team workspace.

~5 min – team administration where invites, roles, and destructive actions determine what everyone can do across the entire Trading Floor

Team (`/team/team`) is Team Settings — name, members, invites, and delete team.

Where to Find It

  • Sidebar → The Trading Floor → Team

Key UI

  • Invite Member — email + role (owner/admin/trader/analyst/viewer)
  • Team Info — edit name, created date, member count, pending invites
  • Delete team — type team name to confirm (owner only)
  • Members list — avatar, name/email, role badge, join date (read-only; role changes at invite time in current UI)
  • Pending Invitations — revoke invite

Permissions

  • `invite_members` — owner, admin
  • `update_team_settings` — edit name (owner, admin, lead)
  • `delete_team` — owner only

Role Impact Across Desk

  • Trader — execute set-ups, claim watchers, request capital
  • Analyst — create theses/set-ups, no execute
  • Viewer — read + comment + vote
  • Admin/Owner — guardrails, invites, allocations override

Quick Workflow

  1. Create team on Team Overview if needed
  2. Invite members with correct roles
  3. Monitor pending invites; revoke stale ones
  4. Edit team name as desk identity evolves
  5. Roles determine access on every other Trading Floor tab

Quick Reality Checks

  • Member can't execute? → Role is analyst/viewer — re-invite with trader role (no inline role editor today)
  • No invite button? → Need admin/owner
  • Delete irreversible? → Export Allocations History and audit log first

Trading Floor module complete. Run the full pipeline monthly: thesis review → performance ranking → allocation rebalance → guardrail tune-up. One desk, one chain, zero dropped hand-offs.
